[NTNU Office of Research and Development Subsidy] 2026 Research Ethics Review Fee Subsidy, the application deadline is November 30. Eligible applicants are kindly requested to prepare the required documents and submit them to the Research Ethics Office.

Regarding the subsidy for research ethics review fees during the period when our Research Ethics Committee has suspended accepting new applications, the details are as follows:

1. During the period when our Research Ethics Committee suspends accepting new applications, research projects may be submitted to designated external institutions for research ethics review.
2. For research projects by full-time faculty members as well as master's or doctoral degree thesis research projects that have not received any funding subsidies, applicants may apply for a subsidy in accordance with NTNU Regulations for the Subsidy Research Ethics Review Fee (subsidies are limited to the current year, apply only to new cases, and are generally capped at one case per person; for students, it is limited to degree dissertations).
The subsidy amounts are categorized by type of review as follows:
• Full Board Review: NT$13,500
• Expedited Review: NT$10,000
• Exempt: NT$1,500
3. If the actual review fee for a new case is lower than the subsidy amount for that category, the subsidy will be granted based on the actual review amount. Other application regulations shall be handled in accordance with NTNU Regulations for the Subsidy Research Ethics Review Fee (as attachment).
4. The review fee subsidy application form can be downloaded from the Research Ethics Office webpage under the Office of Research and Development (Office of Research and Development → Research Ethics Office → Subsidy Section).
5. Due to the earthquake-resistant reinforcement project of the Liberal Arts Building, please submit physical application for the research ethics review fee subsidy to the Official Document Registration Desk of the Office of Research and Development (2nd Floor, Administration Building II) or contact with Ms. Chen by phone.
